Sowerby Angling Society Kindly Donate
We were very proud to meet Ian Pincombe this week from Sowerby Angling Club. The club has very kindly donated £100 to our school for the Sensory Garden and our school garden.
The Sensory Garden has raised beds where children plant fruit, flowers and vegetables as well as housing a mud kitchen, mini beast hotel, digging area for artifacts, den making areas, whittling area as well as an impressive wooden castle and a wooden teepee.
The school garden sports a green house and raised beds where children can grow varied fruit and vegetable crops.
The two areas are an integral part of our lovely school and the children love to spend time in these areas learning while they play.
Sowerby Angling Club have been very generous and we very much appreciate their support for our school this year.
If you are interested in joining the club (which has been established over 50 years), check out their website.
